The great part about life is that we never know where it’s going to take us. Just when we think we have everything figured out, it throws us a curve ball. So I stopped. Stopped planning every little detail of my life and started living in the moment and being more spontaneous. My result: self discovery, happiness, and peace. We are all on a quest and though we would love to have it all figured out. It’s okay to accept the fact that we don’t. We get lost sometimes and don’t know where to go or who to turn to. The faster we accept that it’s okay to be in a funk, or to not be motivated or to not know how to feel, the sooner we can embrace all that already is. And that’s that we are all discovering ourselves but when you accept that as your journey, you can begin to lower the expectations of reaching your discovery faster than someone else. You can begin to live for yourself because you have something to prove to only you. And that is to be a better person than you were the day before. To make small changes in your life that will propel you just a little further. To set small goals every day that you can attain. Discovering thyself has no time. The time is what you make of it. The self is you. And the discovery is what you find along the way.
