Tips to glowing skin

Happy Skincare Sunday! With Summer approaching, I thought I’d share some helpful tips to keeping your skin happy, healthy, and glowing all Summer long. To keep my skin clear and glowing during the summer months, I don’t wear makeup as it clogs my pores more and creates unwanted breakouts. The no makeup method allows my skin to breathe and take in the summer warmth, (which it loves). Check below for more of my favorite glowing skin tips!

  • Aloe Vera Gel
    • Aloe Vera is a plant that contains alot of healthy properties for the skin and body. The gel inside the plant holds the most benefits. I use Aloe Vera gel on my skin as a moisturizing mask. I put the gel on my face and leave it on until it dries, then once it dries, I wash it off. It leaves my skin moisturized and soft! Oh and did i mention that Aloe Vera (the plant) can be found at your local plant shop or even in supermarkets and retails around $2 a plant depending on where you buy it from.
  • Shea Butter
    • Although Shea Butter is rather thick and most would consider it to be a winter moisturizer, it still holds moisture like no other. If you are looking for a moisturizer to keep your skin glowing all day, try African Shea Butter which can be found at your local beauty supply store. If you are worried about looking oily, I suggest using a finger tip’s worth of Shea Butter which is just enough to keep you moisturized throughout the day.
