The saying you are what you eat can very well be applied to the way in which we talk to ourselves. By talking down or speaking negatively, you are allowing that theory to be cast down upon you. If you talk down to yourself in front of other people, you are allowing them to perceive you as such. I enoucrage you to speak positive thoughts to and about yourself this week. Often times, we think speaking positively about or too ourselves means that we are conceited, so we use negative thoughts/speaking as a defense mechanism to allow ourselves to be perceived as humble. Speak highly about yourself, you never know who may be listening.
