On January 1, 2018 I made the decision to become a Vegetarian. I believe we owe it to ourselves to figure out what our bodies enjoy and what is harmful to them. I started to digress from meat in 2017 and decided making the transition from carnivore to herbivore would not be so hard. The transition was not as hard as I thought it would be because I had only been eating chicken, no beef or pork. When I first made my transition, I was consuming a lot of carbs and not as much vegetables which is one of the most valuable parts of being a vegetarian. Although it has only been 2 months, I am learning more as I go and striving to respond to my body when it calls.
